Each actor will prepare two scenes, one from Henri IV, one from Hamlet, respectively: the battle scene and grave-diggers' scene :
- Act V, scene III, Henry IV, first part, pp. 150-154. Characters : Blunt, Douglas, Brulcoeur Falstaff, The prince.
- Act V, scene I, Hamlet, pp. 177-187. Characters : First grave-digger, second grave-digger, Hamlet, Horatio.
During this week of preparation and staging, the workshop will be directed by Lucia Bensasson and Jean-François Dusigne. Let us add that in this particular context, masculine parts can be interpreted by female actors. In terms of quality for our research work together it is required that both texts be entirely memorized by June the 3rd., in order to shorten the text in hand phase of work, so that each actor can prepare several parts..
